Lexus’s sexy looking LC500 has received a dose of specification updates for the year 2020, aimed at affording its customers with what the automaker calls an even more ‘amazing experience’.
Important changes have been granted mainly on the interior and technological features, with the exterior adding a new Blazing Carnelian paint job.
Interior updates see the LC 500 gaining a new color schemes that include the ‘Manhattan Orange’ interior tone, confirmed to be inspired by a natural light effect from the New York district’s famous grid pattern of streets. The color tone has been used on the headlining, door panels and seat upholstery accents. Another new colour tone for this model is Terrane Khaki (first seen on the UX), both of which join the already available variety of colors offered across the Lexus range.
Also included on the updates is a new 17MM+ high resolution audio that includes the standard USB Audio, DAB phase driver, Miracast, Smartphone linking, as well as Apple Car Play® and Android Auto
Technological improvements come in the form of engineering dynamics which include changes to the LC’s Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system control that also adds Active Cornering Assist (ACA) for improved handling in winding roads. Updates further include brake pedal shape change for better feel, an updated Electric Power Steering control and an improved Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) as well as Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) controls.
