Yes, the updated Lexus RC F Coupe and RC F Track Edition have hit Mzansi streets – a dead set competitor for the acclaimed BMW M4 and M4 CP.
Lexus RC F Coupe

The updated version of the RC F coupe not only benefits from improved performance but also receives minor but effective design updates that include revised headlights that now include LED daytime running lights and a revised front grille. The rear end gains new taillights integrated into the restyled rear bumper.

Performance has been uprated through the use of stiffer bushing for the rear suspension arms and steering rack mounts whilst the naturally aspirated 5.0litre V8 engine now delivers 352kW (4kW more) and 536Nm (8Nm more) of torque over the outgoing model. The standard electronic launch control and new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires allow the facelift RC F coupe to achieve its full potential.
Lexus RC F Track Edition

With technical inputs from Lexus race teams in the Super GT and IMSA series, the Lexus RC F Track Edition is the most track-focused RC F model to date. In achieving such outcomes, the Track Edition had to undergo intense design and technical scrutiny whilst still maintaining the luxury of a normal road-going vehicle.

For starters, the Track Edition benefits from improved aerodynamics, which includes a carbon-fibre front splitter for improved downforce, grip and better steering. The rear gains a fixed carbon-fibre wing that reduces drag and increases downforce. More weight has been shaved through the use of carbon fiber roof and hood along with a carbon fiber partition behind the rear seats and a carbon bumper reinforcement. The 19inch BBS alloy wheels cover up the upgraded Brembo carbon ceramic brake rotors whilst the standard titanium muffler and tailpipes not only give the Track Edition a unique exhaust note, but also adds to the weight reduction urge.

The cockpit benefits from standard red leather seat accents and red carbon trim on the doors and dashboard. Only two exterior colors will be available: Ultra White and Matte Nebula Gray, an exclusive color only available on the Track Edition.

With a reduction in curb weight coupled with the maker’s new electronic launch control system, the RC F Track Edition has been confirmed to devour the 0-100km/h sprint in a claimed 3.96sec flat from the same 352kW/536Nm 5.0litre V8 powertrain also found on the RC F Coupe.
