Porsche has lifted the wraps from its updated Macan Turbo compact SUV, confirming it to be ‘stronger, faster and more agile’.
Subtle but necessary updates have adorned the facelift Macan Turbo. These changes come in the form of unique accents such as the Turbo-specific front apron and the fixed roof spoiler with its double-wing design. Interior updates include adaptive 18-way sports seats and a BOSE® Surround Sound system.
Underneath the bonnet is a new 324kW/550Nm 2.9litre V6 engine that sends drive to all 4-wheels via a standard 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The 0-100km/h sprint is completed in 4.3sec before climbing onto a top speed of 270km/h. figures confirm that the V6 unit delivers 29kW more than the prvious 3.6litre 6-cylinder turbo unit.
The updated Porsche Macan Turbo is currently available to order abroad with prices yet to be confirmed for Mzansi.
