Hyundai Mzansi has added a top spec N Line spec on the Tuscon line up in Mzansi for a dynamic design. This also sees the model gain an AWD drivetrain for added off road ability.
The design changes are subtle but make a sporty impression. Up front the LED Daytime lights are retained but there is an N-Line badge on the right hand side with the grille getting a more darker chrome finish. LED headlights are retained as per the Elite spec with fog lamps also part of the front lighting.
The lower front bumper gains a more sporty design cue with the lower air intake enlarged and getting more black inserts. Headlight surrounds have also been given more curvy inserts.
On to the side, the N Line retains the Panoramic Glass roof whilst the chrome inserts seen on the Elite (A Pillars) are now blackened. The side mirrors are now black polished in finish. The wheel arch surrounds and lower parts of the N Line are now body coloured with 19-inch N Line exclusive alloys adding to the sporty look.
The rear gets a more prominent boot spoiler whilst the lower bumper gets a new design with reversing lights, reflectors getting a new design. There are now twin side pipes in chrome finish. The air diffuser is finished in silver paint for a nice contrasting look to the body colour lower bumper.
The interior layout is similar to the Elite spec with a large infotainment Touchscreen that has wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay (USB connection still available as well). The seats are N Line exclusive with suede/leather combination trim. There is N Line lettering on the seats as well. The front seats are heated, cooled and electrically operated. There are N-Line exclusive pedals in metal finish. The 10.2 inch supervision digital cluster is retained with more function settings operations. The gear lever is finished in suede with N Line branding.
There is a dual zone climate control, wireless charging for mobile phones with the boot getting the electric opening/closing.
The engine is the 2.0-litre Turbodiesel 4-cylinder engine credited with 137kW/416Nm driving all wheels via an automatic transmission. There are drive modes for on road (Eco, Sport, Smart, Comfort) with the AWD also gaining its off road driving modes (Snow/ Mud/ Sand). Fuel efficiency is claimed at 7.4l/100km.
