In a highly competitive market segment dominated by Chinese products, Nissan is striking back with updates to the popular Nissan Magnite. This model launched in South Africa on November 13, comes with upgrades to both aesthetics and features, sure to delight Nissan enthusiasts.
Starting from the outside, the compact SUV captivates you even before you step in. The striking new front grille catches your eye, and you can’t miss the sleek LED lights.
Looking up, you’ll notice the stylish roof rails. The Visia spec comes with 16 inch steel wheels with covers whilst then rest of the models come with 16 inch alloys. Electrically adjustable and foldable side mirrors come standard across the range. The rear gets new design tail lights that now feature LED technology. The sporty spoiler adds to the dynamic look of the compact SUV model.
Upon entering the spacious interior, you’re greeted by intentional styling, a TFT driver display, and colour ambient lighting. Notably, the vehicle’s materials ensure comfort; whether it’s heat or cold.
The spacious interior is complimented by the multi adjustable drivers seat ensuring a pleasant drive. Climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration are some of the features that will appeal to the tech savvy customer base.
Nissan has introduced remote engine start and a walkaway lock and approach unlock function in the Magnite. Among other features, the car includes an onboard air ioniser, ideal for motorists and passengers with allergies or respiratory conditions.
With safety as a priority, the Magnite comes standard with six airbags across all variants and reinforced steel.
The Magnite is powered by two 1-liter engines, one being turbocharged, offering an optimal balance of fuel economy and responsive performance. It’s available with a manual, automated manual (AMT), or continuously variable transmission. Customers can acquire this well-performing vehicle starting from just R246,200.
