A sportier version of the Audi A7 has finally arrived in Mzansi, boasting an athletic finish enough to intimidate many within its respective segment – meet the new Audi S7.

The new Audi S7 benefits from the makers recently introduced design language topped off by distinctive S trim elements that include dark chrome and aluminium finishes on the radiator grille lamellas, the front blade, the side air inlet, the exterior mirrors and the rear diffuser. HD Matrix LED headlights with animated rear lights connected by a flat light strip sharpen the sportier design even further. The standard 21” wheels in an S-specific wheel design complete the S specific exterior finish.

Interior styling receives the S treatment as well, with S sport seats with integrated head restraints, black colour schemes, sporty inlays and colour-contrasting stitching. Also on the cards is an extended range of standard equipment which includes a 12.3-inch display, MMI navigation plus, four-zone automatic air conditioning, HD touch displays with haptic feedback, contour ambient lighting with up to 30 colours, Audi phone box and smartphone interface, Bang and Olufsen premium sound system with 3D sound and a panoramic glass sunroof. The full suite of Audi connect technology around connected infotainment, remote services, safety and convenience features are a few of the key standard specification. Also available is s variety of leather packages for customizing the interior further.

Under the bonnet of the S7 bellows a 331kW/600Nm 3.0 TFSI engine that drives all 4-wheels via a standard tiptronic transmission. This combination allows the Audi S7 to deliver the 0-100km/h sprint in just 4.6sec and a top speed of 250km/h.

The new Audi S7 TFSI Sportback quattro Tiptronic is priced at R 1,500,500 and comes standard with the 5 year / 100 000km Audi Freeway plan, inclusive of all taxes. The new vehicle is currently available for sale at all Audi Dealerships around Mzansi.
