Bentley has unveiled a striking Continental GT Limited Edition model in honour of the maker’s accomplishment at the demanding International Hill Climb event in the USA.

Only 15 examples of the special coupe will be made available, spotting unique exterior and interior detailing that further affords a unique taste for enthusiasts and those that value the brand’s achievements. The build of such unique models has been driven by the success of that Grand Tourer which managed to shaved 8.4 seconds off the existing record for the 12.42-mile course in Colorado, making it the fastest production car ever at Pikes Peak in the hands of a three-time champion, former ‘King of the Mountain’ Rhys Millen.

Paying tribute to such an achievement has meant that the striking Continental GT Limited Edition gains a almost similar styling to the record breaking car, which comes in design details such as a carbon fibre body kit and a Radium by Mulliner paintwork. . Gloss black detailing has also been added to the front lower bumper inserts, roof panel, wing mirrors and rear surfaces. Also available are Acid Green brake disc callipers, a Pikes Peak decal to the front bumper and 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification wheels in Gloss Black complete the unique look. An optional ‘100’ grille is also on the cards, serving as a reminder of the Continental GT’s hill climb achievement.

The Pikes Peak themed cabin gains embroidery to the seat headrests in Radium stitching, Pikes Peak treadplates and exclusive B&O speaker covers in Black Anodised and Radium finish. Alcantara interior with contrasting Radium thread stitching is further complimented by honeycomb stitching design on the steering wheel and a centre stripe both in Radium, the carbon fibre fascias and wasitrails are complemented by a Piano Black centre console, all adding to the sporting theme. Also available is the Bentley Rotating Display, deep pile overmats and Front Seat Comfort Specification.

Powering the Continental GT is a 467kW/900Nm 12-cylinder petrol engine also found in the twin-turbocharged Bentley W12. This mighty engine effortlessly accelerates the Continental GT from 0-100 km/h in 3.7seconds before clocking a top speed of 333km/h.
