Chery South Africa has revised the Tiggo 4 lineup to make this new TIGGO Cross LiT the new entry model for the brand. This change sees the entry to the Tiggo model range gain either a 5-speed manual or DCT and specialized CVT gearboxes, along with a range of enhancements designed to improve safety, comfort, and smart connectivity.
The Cross version of the Tiggo range was previously above the Tiggo 4 Pro, which has now been phased out to make the Tiggo range available only as Tiggo Cross models. Makes sense? What is good about the change is that this range comes with some standard equipment, like LED headlights, a full-width lightbar rear light, roof rails, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The interior features faux leather seats, a rear centre armrest and a driver footrest on automatic models, dual 10.25”digital screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless one-touch start and a smart voice assistant. Chery have added front side airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, and passenger seatbelt reminders for added safety, while smart cruise control, and electrically heated side mirrors keep passengers better protected when driving. Also now standard on these models is the rear-view camera which delivers clearer visibility and greater confidence when reversing.
