The 99 units of the G650 Landaulet are left-hand drive only and thus not coming to Mzansi but that won’t stop us from drooling at it.
The first G-Class model to gain the Maybach treatment, the G650 is a open top 4-seater with off road capabilities. This model has a length of 5345 millimetres, a wheelbase of 3428 millimetres, a height of 2235 millimetres, almost half a metre of ground clearance and ample space and comfort for four passengers for a truly imposing look. While the driver and front passenger are accommodated under the closed roof, the rear passengers can revel in a maximum of comfort: at the press of a button, a large folding top opens electrically to offer a view of the blue sky. The first class rear seats are from the S-Class with multi adjustments and massage function.
Powering the G650 is a 463kW/1000Nm 6.0litre Bi-Turbo V12 driving all wheels.
