HAVAL has revitalized its Jolion lineup by adding a styling kit and various features to keep the product up to date with its highly dense competition in the segment.
The biggest update will be the addition of a smoked black package that adds black trim to the grille, window trim and rear diffuser on the Jolion Pro versions.
Inside, the range has been upgraded to offer enhanced wireless Android Auto and CarPlay for seamless connectivity, a increased output 50W wireless charging with convenient Type-C Ports, Voice command functionality and a new thicker sportier multi-functional steering wheel but it is still more or less a familiar affair.
The HAVAL Jolion PRO is available with three distinct engine options - At the base level you have the 1.5-litre turbo petrol delivering 105 kW and 210 Nm of torque; driving the front‐wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), and yields a claimed fuel consumption around 8.1 L/100 km. Stepping up, the 1.5T S version produces 130 kW and 270 Nm, still with the 7-speed DCT, producing a claimed average of about 7.5 L/100 km.
Finally, the flagship Hybrid (HEV) variant which combines a petrol engine with an electric motor and drives via a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission to output 140 kW and 375 Nm - its claimed combined fuel consumption is around 5.1 L/100 km.
