iCAUR has been rolling out their latest introduction to our market in the form of V23, and they have been quite clear about their readiness to contribute heavily to our local market by setting up various dealerships and stocking up on parts in an effort to show just how well they can plan ahead. Now, again in a showcase of readiness, just after the launch of the V23, iCAUR is set to introduce a second car to the lineup called the 03T.
Not short of any pizzazz, the 03T also features outside-the-box styling, as iCAUR refers to this car's appearance as a retro-inspired boxy look. This includes LED headlamps and taillights, LED daytime running lights, and a panoramic sunroof. The vehicle rides on 19-inch alloy wheels fitted with 245/55 tires , while braking is handled by ventilated front discs and rear disc brakes. Suspension consists of a MacPherson strut setup at the front and a multi-link arrangement at the rear.
Inside, it's a familiar affair if you have already seen what the V23 looks like. The 03T also features a 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen, heated and ventilated front seats that are electrically adjustable ( wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard), physical climate control settings, and sound is taken care of by either an eight-speaker setup or a 12-speaker system.
You know just how feature-rich most Chinese vehicles are, especially when it comes to safety? They do not take any chances. So, there is a fleet of driver assistance systems included as standard on both derivatives. Features include a 540-degree camera, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure prevention, and adaptive cruise control, among others. Passive safety is supported by six airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchorages, while additional stability systems include ABS, traction control, and ESP (electronic stability program).
