We had the Kia Picanto on test and got to experience all the feature with enough time to see what exactly makes the new Kia Picanto R260K
The exterior of the new Kia Picanto has a refreshed appearance. I liked the new light signature, it comes with an updated front bumper, and an evolution of Kia’s iconic ‘tiger nose’ grille. The redesigned fender and bonnet contribute to a wider stance, enhancing the car’s presence on the road, I felt it definitely made the car look much bigger than its predecessor.
At the rear, the horizontally connected taillights give it a sporty look, creating a cohesive rear light signature that complements the redesigned bumper. The derivate we had on test had 14inch alloy. On test we had the Sporty Blue metallic which is my favourite colour out of the offering.
Stepping the Picanto continues to impress with its refined interior. The centre piece is the ‘floating’ 8-inch colour touchscreen, offering intuitive access to entertainment and navigation features, with the chord you can enjoy use of apple car play? Android auto. Standard black cloth-upholstered seats (I would've preferred leather)
The Picanto has electric windows all around, complete with automatic up/down functionality for the driver’s window and a safety feature that prevents the window from closing if obstruction is detected. Manual air-conditioning ensures a comfortable environment for all occupants.
there is a storage box between the front seats and an upgraded 4.2-inch Supervision TFT cluster.
Safety is also prioritized, with features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) enhancing driver confidence on the road.
The Picanto LX has 1.0l engine that produces 49 kW and 95 Nm, it is a 5 speed Manuel
