Mercedes-Benz South Africa, in collaboration with dealer partner Super Group, proudly announced the grand opening of the Constantiaberg dealership. At this event, there was an inaugural appearance in South Africa of the all-electric and luxury-focused Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV equally embodies the pinnacle of electrified technology, encased in a modern luxury aesthetic. With this remarkable addition to the local Mercedes-Benz EQ line-up, a new standard is unequivocally set within the luxury SUV segment.
Immaculate and evocative in design, the EQS SUV exemplifies the Mercedes-Benz philosophy of sensual purity, all while striving towards contemporary luxury aspirations. Its innovative and holistic design is rooted in a novel vehicle architecture, setting it apart from its internal combustion engine counterparts at first glance. This unmistakable purpose-driven design seamlessly blends uncompromising functionality, exceptional aerodynamics, and cutting-edge aesthetics. True to the luxury lounge concept, the interior of the EQS SUV exudes opulence, harmoniously interwoven with a fully digitised experience. The grand opening of the new Constantiaberg dealership saw the unveiling of the EQS 450 4MATIC SUV. This model is equipped with a powerful lithium-ion battery, delivering an impressive 265 kW and 800 Nm of torque, this visionary vehicle boasts a substantial 108.4 kWh battery capacity, granting an estimated range of up to 616 kilometres according to WLTP standards.
