OMODA has grown its brand from being just a sub-brand of Chery to fully embracing independence and achieving strong sales. It has broken countless personal records in sales, with its latest achievement being inclusion in the top 15 list of best-selling vehicle brands for consecutive months. Now, it has expanded its lineup to introduce the C7.

The C7 is bigger than the entry-level C5 but smaller than the more posh flagship C9, meaning that it will slot in between the two to bridge the gap for customers who don't want a C5 but shy away from the C9, as the brand promises that this vehicle has a blend of simplicity and premium-quality build to suit customer needs.

The C7 sports a distinctive X-shaped frameless honeycomb grille that is partially closed off to give off the look of an EV. This is flanked by slim LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights, and below that are tiny lights integrated into the surface of the face that illuminate at night.

The side profile consists of 19 inch alloys or 20 inch alloys (when chosen in SHS spec) that are stopped from motion by sporty red-painted brake calipers. There are also pop-out door handles for good aero and a smoother side profile and sillouette as well as the optional sunroof because who doesn't love a sunroof.

The rear has a light bar that features LED thunderbolt-like signatures integrated, and above it is labeled with "OMODA" badging. The rear does slightly resemble a Range Rover nearside, which is not a bad thing at all.

Let's go in to the interior shall we? Here we are met by a minimalist set up that comprises of a huge a 15.6-inch infotainment display integrates vehicle controls, climate settings, and media. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity provide seamless integration with smartphones. Meanwhile, the driver gains a 8.88-inch digital display cluster providing all essential driving information.

Some other nicities from the cabin would include a Sony 12-speaker setup in the SHS, a wireless charging pad, multi-colour ambient lighting, electrically adjustable seating and of course the list goes on.
Safety is a big talking focus of the C7. The SUV comes equipped with ABS, Brake Assist, and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), alongside dual front, front-side, curtain, driver’s knee, and front centre airbags. Aside from passive safety features, the C7 is equipped with up to 21 advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including:
