Porsche has been making the rounds in the news for revealing that they have plans to reintroduce ICE power, as their plans for some models to go the EV route have been halted due to what many claim is a lack of interest and demand for EVs from their customers. But now, in the latest occurrence, Porsche has officially revealed the first look into the interior of the upcoming all-electric Porsche Cayenne.

The EV Cayenne has been in the pipeline for several years now, showing a great deal of dedication towards establishing themselves in the EV space by offering not just iterations of EVs but ground-up built products.

The interior of the Cayenne is one that is set to push the boundaries of technology as we know it, while also packaging increased levels of comfort for all occupants. So yes, there are screens - three to be exact - but the most exciting part is that there are physical buttons and controls!

The interior screens dominate the dashboard and the centerpiece in the all-new Flow Display, which is a 14.25-inch curved OLED display that flows seamlessly into the center console and sits below two slim vents and the hazard light signal. There is the choice of an optional 14.9-inch passenger display, which offers entertainment, app control, and video streaming.

The driver's view features, for the first time, a head-up display that includes augmented reality with neat tricks like projecting navigation arrows. The digital instrument cluster has the now-signature cylindrical-shaped digital gauges.

"The aim of redesigning the screens' digital content was to create an even more immersive and intense connection between driver and sports car," says Ivo van Hulten, Director of Driver Experience at Style Porsche.

Another highlight is the AI-powered voice assistant. It reliably understands complex instructions as well as spontaneous follow-up questions without requiring the activation word to be repeated. The Voice Pilot controls comfort functions such as climate, seat heating, ambient lighting , and Mood Modes with simple voice commands.

Porsche has also developed new material choices for the Cayenne Electric; in addition to classic leather variants, the new colors Magnesium Grey, Lavender, and Sage Grey are also available. The cabin lighting also gains colors, as one can now choose from 13 interior color combinations.

Practicality is also a trick this car has up its sleeve , as Porsche claims electrically adjustable rear seats as standard, which should enable flexible adjustment from comfort position to cargo mode. There are new features like surface heating, which warms not only the seats but also large contact areas such as armrests and sections of the door panels.

The Cayenne is a big deal for Porsche, as a good chunk of their sales is driven by the large SUV. While it is in the latter stages of its prototype testing, this interior reveal shows us that the full reveal might be sooner rather than later and that this vehicle could potentially be class-leading in safety, tech, and design. But for now, we just have to wait, as the full reveal is expected in November 2025.
