Range Rover has revealed the Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition, which was made to celebrate the timeless appeal of an all-black aesthetic that is a favorite and popular among Range Rover Sport clients. The Black Edition will exclusively feature distinctive black finishes, including for the first time the Range Rover SV roundel and brand badges on the front grille, delivering what Range Rover calls a bold and defiant interpretation of stealth-like sporting luxury.

The SV gains plenty of exterior additions, such as a black-painted carbon fiber bonnet, a Narvik Black body, a full Narvik Gloss Black Exterior Pack, and Gloss Black Forged 23-inch alloy wheels with Gloss Black brake calipers and Gloss Black quad exhausts. Black is exquisitely expressed in every application, particularly with the new black ceramic SV roundel on the tailgate. Exterior changes are minimal, but you won’t miss that you’re in a Black Edition because you have SV Black illuminated treadplates when the door is opened. Additionally, you get sculpted performance seats finished in tactile Ebony Windsor leather. Gloss Grand Black finishers complete the look inside.

Martin Limpert, Global Managing Director of Range Rover, said, “Range Rover Sport SV Black represents the essence of sporting luxury; a statement of audacious rebellion. We’ve created a vehicle that combines pure power and performance with a gritty, uncompromising attitude that demands attention. Range Rover’s design team has gone beyond anything we’ve offered previously with black packs or options, giving every single exterior and interior element a sophisticated Narvik black treatment; it appears to the eye as if the vehicle has been dipped in gloss. We extend this attention to detail to new finishes for the first time on Range Rover, truly showcasing our craftsmanship.”

This Range Rover Sport SV is said to be the most powerful and dynamic Range Rover Sport ever; it aims to blend performance and dynamism in typical Range Rover fashion. Its array of performance-enhancing technologies includes a more advanced suspension system: 6D Dynamics Suspension, and a feature called the ‘Body and Soul Seats,’ which is a sensory audio system with wellness benefits. This car is set to be powered exclusively by a 467 kW, 750 Nm 4.4-liter Twin Turbo MHEV V8 petrol engine. The Range Rover Sport SV Black is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 290 km/h.

Range Rover is now also introducing a newly specially tuned Range Rover Sport SV globally, featuring the revolutionary 6D Dynamics technology and a 467 kW Twin Turbo V8 mild-hybrid powertrain, with a top speed of 266 km/h. Clients can now configure their Range Rover Sport SV at www.rangerover.com. The Range Rover Sport SV Black will be previewed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, UK, from Thursday, July 10, to Sunday, July 13, 2025. It will be available for clients to order from late 2025, priced from R 3,671,500.
