The Jaguar I-PACE has become more stylish and intelligent as it gains new styling packs and updated technological features for 2021.

Let’s start with the sexy exterior appeal, which gains a new Bright Pack option that is available across the I-PACE range. The pack features a chrome grille surround, Atlas Grey door mirror caps, Satin Chrome window surrounds and Atlas Grey for the rear diffuser. Also on the cards is a Black Pack option that affords the I-PACE with a gloss black finish to the rear badges. the revised I-PACE features new color option that include Caldera Red, Portofino Blue and Eiger Grey.

Intelligence comes in the form of a new smartphone inspired PIVI PRO infotainment system that will also be featured on upcoming Jaguar and Land Rover models. This intuitive system operates via a 12.3inch high-definition virtual instrument cluster together with a 10-inch and 5-inch upper and lower touchscreens with multi-function, haptic rotary controllers.

The new system features a navigation system that has software-over-the-air (SOTA) functionality that automatically keeps the maps updated all times. The easy to access and use navigation also utilizes self-learning algorithms to optimize routing, voice guidance even knows to remain quiet when you’re travelling through areas you know. The I-PACE is now also available with an optional wireless device charging pad beneath the ‘floating’ centre console. Wireless charging also includes signal boosting, ensuring the phone’s signal remains stronger for longer. A Smartphone Pack with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard on all derivatives, as is a dual modem embedded SIM and Bluetooth technology which can pair two phones simultaneously.

Customers can also opt for an enhanced Meridian 3D Surround Sound System with TrifieldTM technology. The system features two additional speakers in the cabin headliner, meaning the 16 speaker and one subwoofer arrangement.

Charging the 90kWh battery (with a 470km range) has been simplified by the use of a range calculation tool that is accessible on www.jaguar.co.za which makes it easy to see how factors such as vehicle speed, ambient temperature and climate control settings can influence the real-world range you could expect to achieve.
