The Tiguan model line-up with have the addition of two new engines, 2.0 TDI with 110kW and 2.0 TSI with 140kW, both engines offered with a 7-speed DSG transmission.
Having been launched in 2025 with the 110kW 1.4 TSI engine, the added engine range will enhance the competitiveness of the Tiguan range in Mzansi.
The new Tiguan 2.0 TDI 4Motion with 110kW engine develops maximum torque of 340 Nm available between 1750 and 3000 rpm. This engine accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds and has a top speed of 207 km/h. The 2.0 TDI engine is available with Life and R-Line derivatives.
The new Tiguan 2.0 TSI 4Motion with 140kW engine develops maximum torque of 350 Nm available between 1500 and 4400 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is achieved in 6.5 seconds and has a top speed of 225 km/h.
